The Mothers’ Union is a world wide Christian organisation which promotes the well-being of families by:

• developing prayer and spiritual growth in families.
• studying and reflecting on the place of family life and marriage within society.
• resourcing our members to take practical action to improve conditions for families, both nationally and in the communities in which they live.

Membership is open to those who have been baptised and declare their support for the Aim and Objectives of the Mothers’ Union.

We support the work of the Mothers’ Union with an Acomb Branch corporate communion service (Open to All) on the first Thursday of each month, 10am in the Parish Hall. There is also a Branch AGM each year.
