The Mothers’ Union is a world wide Christian organisation which promotes the well-being of families by:
-developing prayer and spiritual growth in families.
-studying and reflecting on the place of family life and marriage within society.
-resourcing our members to take practical action to improve conditions for families, both nationally and in the communities in which they live.
We support the work of the Mothers’ Union and hold local (branch) meetings for worship and fellowship, often with a guest speaker, on the second Tuesday of each month at 2.15 pm in St Aidan’s Church. All are welcome at our meetings and services. Membership is open to those who have been baptised and declare their support for the Aim and Objectives of the Mothers’ Union.
The Branch’s corporate communion is on the first Thursday of each month at 10.00 am in St Aidan’s Church.
